Extensive knowledge of machining processes and mechanical design. Familiar with CAD, NX or similar design platform. Comprehend mechanical drawing’s specification and geometric measurement method.
- Analyze mechanical part’s drawing to determine suitable machining processes
- Review Supplier’s SPMP (control plan)
- Coordinate part localization project at TTI VN
- Cooperate with SQE and Sourcing to visit and evaluate Supplier’s and sub-supplier’s
technical capability
- Develop Supplier’s technical capability
- Cooperate with LAB and Supplier to evaluate quality of localized parts
- Investigate technical failure of parts and tool during lab test
- Create Drawings using NX software.
- Conduct engineering change request
- Train junior mechanical engineers
Education: Graduate University/Technical Institutions: Mechanical engineer or
bachelor’s degree
Experience: At least 2 years of relevant work experience in mechanical design
Knowledge: Experience in CAD/NX software.
Functional Skills:
- Good analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Good communication skills/teamwork.
- Understanding of metal fabrication, machining (including CNC), heat
treatment, metal surface treatment
- Have knowledge production and quality control
- Knowledge of SPC and process capability index
- Understand P-FMEA, D-FMEA
- Good written and communication in English
- Knowledge of MS Office
- Basic knowledge of Project management
- Good reporting/ presentation skill
Other Abilities
- Good written and communication in English
- Knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Power Point)
