I. Main duty:
- Provide helpdesk support, technical services to end users and support on troubleshoot IT related issues.
- Manage a team of support team staff and provide on-site technical support to multiple locations including PC installations and configurations.
- Liaise with and manage various outsourced applications vendors
- Ensure that escalated technical problems are prioritized and follow-up actions to fault cases are completed in a timely manner
- Install hardware and software as well as to manage and monitor IT assets and software licenses.
- Contribute to and maintain I.T. policies, standard and system operation procedure. - Identify the areas / opportunities for improvement on IT operational support and make proposal on project / enhancement initiatives.
- Support system implementation and process improvement projects.
- Establish proper documentations for IT installation / configuration / recovery, and ensure effective ongoing operations can be achieved.
- Participate in evaluation of IT technologies and products.
- Perform ad-hoc support as assigned.
II. Requirements:
1. Academic
◼ Degree in Information Technology / Computer Science or equivalent.
2. Years of experience
◼ Minimum 10 years IT experience and at least 5 years in supervisory role, working experience in administration of computer operating systems, fixing technical problems in a sophisticated IT environment and supporting IT projects.
◼ MCSE/MCITP & CCNA, ITIL, PMP certification is an advantage
3. Technical knowledge
◼ At least 3 years or above experiences in technical support.
◼ Strong technical knowledge and experience in IT architecture, Internet technologies and infrastructure.
◼ Working knowledge and experience in Windows 10 / Mac OS, Office 365, Microsoft Active Directory, Mobile Device Management (MDM), SCCM, printing devices, video conferencing equipment, etc.
◼ Experience of supporting TCP/IP, Router Configuration, Windows, Wi-Fi and Firewall ◼ Knowledge in system and network monitoring tools, cloud and mobility.
