- Liaise with the supplier’s motor Engineering Department and support the Project Engineer in thedevelopment of motors.
- Engineering Design of motors including:
a) AC120 & 230V brush motor with impeller (suction motor)
b) DC120 & 230V permanent magnet brush motor (nozzle motor)
c) Permanent magnet brush motor under 40V DC with impeller (suction motor)
d) Permanent magnet brush motor under 40V DC (nozzle motor)
e) Permanent magnet brushless motor under 40V DC with impeller & PCBA (suction motor)
- Manage multiple projects from different OEMs and follow-up from project kick-off to MP.
- Write and transform the Product Requirements to motor detail requirements which should be
downloadable to the Product and Components Suppliers.
- Coordinate with Suppliers to qualify new motors
- Coordinate with other Departments for motor development.
- Trouble shooting during product development cycle.
- Check and manage Engineering documents required for motor component systems development.
- Participate in communication with outside clients on status of project issues.
- Familiar with the design of full motor systems, which is a key electrical component.
- Knowledge of motor manufacturing and design is preferable.

- Mechatronics bachelor degree or above from an accredited University.
- At least 5 years relevant working experience in motor field.
- English writing and reading is essential, fluent English speaking is an advantage.
- Able to work under pressure.
- Good technical knowledge in motor field.
- Good problem solving and failure analysis skills.
