Job Description

JOB SUMMARY

- Be responsible creating and building, co-ordinate with supplier for various automated machines. Design electrical, simulate concept and test automated machinery and processes to complete exact tasks.

- Be responsible to design schematics for automation components using CAD software and analyze production processes to assess automation’s best use cases.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITIES

• Strong at automation machine design & fabrication & assembly & testing. More Specific to Electrical side.

• Work on custom automation solutions to support the team.

• Strong at automation trouble shooting ability & continuous improvement.

• Implement improvements with measurable results in savings, revenue, or quality.

• Provide technical support and training to other automation resources.

• Develop and deliver training on new automation systems and methodologies to all required stakeholders.

• Planning, organizing, monitoring, and oversight of all phases of test automation.

• Managing the rollout with the automation vendor's implementation plan & follow up. Able to coach & monitor the automation vendors to meet the effective time, cost & quality target.

• Quick response & handling for production line down issues. Monitor system performance and communicate issues appropriately.

• Introduce new automation development & roll out to drive for continuous quality and production efficiency improvement.

• Work with new project team to ensure the new product design for assembly & automation during the product & process development stages.

• Automation assembly buy off & validation & testing development & implementation to improve the process capability & testing detectability.

• Develop and execute performance test scripts specific to the product needs.

Job Requirement

  • University bachelor’s degree in Automation, Electronics, Mechatronic Engineering or related.
  • At least 3 years or above relevant working experiences with advantage of PLC control system or programming knowledges.
  • Knowledgeable of project tracking and understanding of project governance and reporting.
  • Apply quality methodologies and tools (FMEA, DOE, MSA, SPC etc.).
  • Be familiar with automation design, process control and testing.
  • Be familiar with automation control systems & programming.
  • Good at English (verbal & written)
