Job Description

JOB SUMMARY

Work closely with Project and Operations team on all Quality Assurance related activities. You will need to establish and review the related documents to support the implementation of Quality Assurance system or program.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITIES

New Product Qualification :

Work within the Project Unit (PU) team and establish a consistent and structured approach to adhering to existing Quality procedures and requirements.
Work with the PU to review all product design, tolerances and requirements both at the product and component level.
Conduct and perform New Product qualification during the New Product Development stages.
Plan and monitor the parts analysis; physical testing and performance evaluations.
Review and verify Certificate of Compliance (COC) and qualification testing results and determine its validity and conformance.

Operations Quality Assurance:

Review and document the quality and technical documentation such as and the Quality Assurance Plan, Product Specification and Production Check Card.
Use the appropriate Quality tools such DFMEA, PFMEA, SPC, GR&R … and the appropriate tools at the Manufacturing Operations.

Operations Quality Assurance:

Analyze and investigate the root causes of both internal and external (customer complaint) failures or non-conformances. Will need to conduct an effective communication internally and externally.
Demonstrates a continuous effort to improving the product design and engineering quality and manufacturing product quality operations.
Support cost reduction actions and all other related quality and cost improvement programs.

Job Requirement

REQUIREMENTS

Education:

A University degree with Mechatronic / Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical degree

Experience:

Minimum 3 years Quality Engineering experiences

Knowledge:

Familiar with ISO9001, FMEA, SPMP and the 6 Sigma tools
Ability to identify and resolve all product and part quality performance issues
Good command of written and spoken English
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively and independently

Functional Skills:

Support and build collaborative relationship with the team and other department at all levels of the organization.

Establish active interaction with the R&D or Engineering, PIE and other departments to executing the respective tasks and responsibilities.

External:

Regular interactions with Suppliers are and when required and with customer to address customer quality issues
