Job Description

JOB SUMMARY:

MRO buyer is responsible for performing sourcing, negotiating and buying of goods, material and service to ensure that company operational needs are met.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Manage a day-to-day Sourcing requirement; negotiate with suppliers in terms of price, delivery schedule, and payment term for the maximum value of delivery to the business. - Select and develop suppliers, assess supplier capabilities

- Develop and manage suppliers according to business needs and maintain supplier relationships; act as the lead point of contact for commercial discussion.

- Work with internal stakeholders to ensure that all requirements are timely met in term of work plans quality, price, and delivery.

- Provide analysis of requirements, spending, and savings to ensure the most cost-effective options.

- Other Ad Hoc issues by Sourcing management.

- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and processes.

- Provide guidance to internal stakeholders on procurement principles, policies, and processes.

Job Requirement

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in supply chain management/ Engineering/ business or relevant discipline

Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of procurement experience at an international company (MRO purchasing as a plus).

Functional Skills:

- A self-starter with a “hands-on” approach. Able to work under pressure. Eager to drive key initiatives and see them through to successful implementation

- Ability to prioritize and work independently on multiple concurrent tasks and projects.

- Proactive, sensitive to figures, and strong analytical and research skills

- Good problem-solving skills, strong communication, listening, and interpersonal skills

- Solid experience in purchasing and supply chain for high-volume manufacturing environments.

- Strong ethical standards, integrity, and accountability attitude with the ability to maintain independence, autonomy, and confidentiality.

- English and Vietnamese proficient.
