Job Description

I. ROLE: This position will focus on sourcing from local and/or oversea to support various projects. He/She will be responsible for handling the company’s end to end sourcing operations as well as be able to appraise and improve our sourcing activities by analyzing the company’s spending, supplying partnerships and new opportunities. She/he will need to manage the suppliers for daily production issues come up, negotiating for any sudden changes needed for the benefit of the company.

II. MAIN DUTY:
▪ Source and develop suppliers in commodity category:
• Electrical (PCBA, charger, transformer)
• Technical (mechanical, motor, stamping, machining)
• Non-Technical (plastic, packaging, molding)
• Indirect/MRO
▪ Support purchasing team to analysis and lead projects for localizations for the company
▪ This candidate will learn to understand product ranges, price ranges and capability of different suppliers to identify suitable suppliers for development
▪ Support the procurement process including request for quotations, negotiate with suppliers, recommend best offer (in terms of quality, service, and cost)
▪ Identify potential savings opportunities and support cost savings initiatives
▪ Facilitate cross functional teams to assess and audit candidate suppliers
▪ Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking
▪ Conduct competitive analysis
▪ Willing to travel occasionally to China and around Vietnam

Job Requirement

III. REQUIREMENT:
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, engineering or another technical field.
• Preferably in supply chain management functions under manufacturing or consumer goods setting
• Strong communication, listening and interpersonal skills
• Proactive, sensitive to figures and strong analytical and negotiation skills
• Positive working attitude and willing to learn • A self-starter with a ‘hands-on’ approach. Able to work under pressure. Eager to drive key initiatives and see them through to successful implementation
• Excellent speaking and writing in English & Vietnamese.
