Job Description

Position Summary:

Handle the transfer of metal parts and plastic parts (include tooling) to VN. Follow up projects to meet delivery time and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Work according to policies and procedures.

  2. Follow up the transfer of powertools production from PRC to VN from initiation till mass prodution release.

  3. Work with multiple teams (engineering, quality, lab, supplier…) to test, evaluate and validate transfer components.
  4. Facilitate project flow including regular contact with other functional team members.
  5. Keep track project schedule and ensure the adherence to milestones; keep Assistant Engineering Manager informed on project issues.
  6. Prepare all the product documents, i.e. Feasibility study report, CAD drawing, FMEA, FEA, Product Specification, etc for review.
  7. Interact with suppliers to develop part/product specifications that meet performance requirements and ensure on time delivery.
  8. Invovle in failure analysis activities, work with Engineering, SQE, suppliers for solution/improvement and follow up the implementation.
  9. Update engineering documents include CAD drawing, BOM, ECO, SER, etc. and follow up for review and release.
  10. Provide support to project engineer as necessary.

Job Requirement

Person Specifications:

  1. A recognized Engineering degree from University( Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics or related fields).

  2. At least 3 years relevant working experience in Engineering or Manufacturing

  3. Knowledge of PCBA manufacturing and diagnosis is a plus

  4. Knowledge of Motor manufacturing and diagnosis is a plus.

  5. Familiar with product evaluation and validation process.
  6. Good at GD&T, 2D and 3D CAD (NX, ProE).
  7. Familiar with product safety approval such as HSF, RoHS.
  8. Good communication, listening and interpersonal skills.
  9. Good computer skills
  10. Good English, both verbal and written
  11. Able to work under pressure
  12. Analytical mind
  13. Self-initiative
  14. Team Player
