Job Description

JOB SUMMARY:

Provide support for and guide development of Lean (continuous improvement) projects in plant operations area, promising understanding, and applications of Lean principles. Works with management as well as line plant staff in manufacturing, maintenance, QA, and other teams as needed.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work closely with team leaders and supervisors to assess, evaluate and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Lead and coordinate assigned 5S and Lean activities as directed.
  • Audit and assist with 5S systems on production floor.
  • Assist operations in the development and maintaining hour by hour charts and all continuous improvement metrics and documents.
  • Repeat status and problem areas to facilitate corrective actions when needed.
  • Recognize and eliminate waste in production area and take an active role in continuous improvement culture.
  • Work on safety related tasks as assigned.
  • Follow all safety procedures, rules, and guidelines; and notify supervisor/team lead of any existing or potential safety issues.
  • Complete other tasks assigned by manager.

Job Requirement

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration preferred or in industrial engineering or other similar majors.
  • Minimum 01 year experience for Manufacturing company.
  • Good at English (both Verbal and Written)
  • Computer skills including MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Power Point
  • Must have excellent communication skills (written and oral) and be able to interact professionally within all levels of the organization.
