JOB SUMMARY: We are seeking a seasoned and hands-on director of facilities to create a safe and efficient environment to optimize employee working space and business productivity. Duties for the director of facilities will include but limit to directing facilities functions, ensuring smooth facility operations, implementing policies and safety procedures, managing relevant vendors and contractors, minimizing hazards, preparing facilities budgets and monitoring expenditure, coordinating remodeling and refurbishment initiatives, optimizing space, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, coordinating relocations and negotiating lease agreements as needed.
KEY DUTIES:
Manage all Facility operation and maintenance to ensure all facility system run properly.
• Responsible for all new facility/ factory project setup, renovation, relocation to meet requirement of business.
• Work closely with all department heads to solve issues directly or indirectly relate to facility system and operations.
• Prepare and manage facility budget to ensure effectiveness for facility operation including but not limiting to costs factors, such as materials, labor, and outside contractors.
• Manage facilities projects such as renovation, remodeling, and related matters.
• Review technical specifications, current regulation related to facility management, operations, and maintenance.

• Manage space and facility planning including implementation of plans and moves.
• Manage overall preventative maintenance plans to ensure equipment, utilities, and facilities run in optimized operating condition and minimize down time.
• Manage and work closely with service providers / Suppliers to achieve the highest level of support services in the most cost-effective manner.
• Ensuring facilities meet government regulations and environmental, health and security standards.
• Establish and maintain department SOP’s.
• Manage the activities of the facility/plant engineering and maintenance staff while fully utilizing the support of all other departments to meet company objectives.
• Direct, manage and mentor facility staffs to enhance quality of facility department
Education: Degree in mechanical or electrical Engineering or related field. Building/construction engineering is a plus.
Experience: Minimum 8 years’ experience in facilities management in large scale manufacturing environment.
Knowledge:
• Proven track record of success with increased responsibility and achieving prescribed objectives.
• Excellent organizational, management and leadership skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and changing work environment.
• Sound knowledge of current regulation and legal requirements in facility management.
• Fluent oral and written English.
