Job Description

JOB SUMMARY
- Be responsible to manage/lead Automation team for machine design concept, fabrication, follow up testing machine, fixture.

- Be responsible to develop training material, process explanation for new leader and representatives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITIES

• Strong at automation machine design & fabrication & assembly & testing.

• Strong at automation trouble shooting ability & continuous improvement.

• Understand the requirement for the automation and design and develop automated systems/Robotic systems, Automated production lines for manufacturing for better productivity and improvement in quality mind-set.

• Develop and deliver training on new automation systems and methodologies to all required stakeholders. Lead & train up a team of preventive maintenance technicians to support for daily production activities & continuous improvement.

• Managing the rollout with the automation vendor's implementation plan & follow up. Able to coach & monitor the automation vendors to meet the effective time, cost & quality target.

• Quick response & handling for production line down issues. Monitor system performance and communicate issues appropriately.

• Introduce new automation development & roll out to drive for continuous quality and production efficiency improvement.

• Work with new project team to ensure the new product design for assembly & automation during the product & process development stages.

• Automation assembly buy off & validation & testing development & implementation to improve the process capability & testing detectability.

Job Requirement

  • University bachelor or master’s degree in Automation, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronic Engineering or related.
  • At least 5 years or above relevant working experiences with advantage of PLC control system or programming knowledges.
  • Knowledgeable of project tracking and understanding of project governance and reporting.
  • Apply quality methodologies and tools (FMEA, DOE, MSA, SPC etc.).
  • Be familiar with automation design, process control and testing.
  • Be familiar with automation control systems & programming.
  • Good verbal & written English is a Must.
